Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to brtiderest. By booking a session, visiting our facility, or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our Thai massage and bodywork services.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and brtiderest, located at Zhonghua Road, No. 133, Tainan 701, Taiwan.

1. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

• "Service" or "Services" refers to all Thai massage, bodywork, and wellness treatments offered by brtiderest at our Tainan facility.
• "User," "You," or "Client" refers to any individual who books, receives, or inquires about our services.
• "We," "Us," or "Our" refers to brtiderest, the business entity providing massage therapy services.
• "Practitioner" refers to our trained and qualified massage therapists who perform treatments.
• "Session" refers to a scheduled appointment for massage or bodywork treatment.
• "Facility" refers to our physical location at Zhonghua Road, No. 133, Tainan 701, Taiwan.
• "Website" refers to our online presence accessible at brtiderest.pro.
• "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions along with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

2. Service Description

brtiderest provides traditional Thai massage and bodywork services in Tainan, Taiwan. Our services include:

• Traditional Thai bodywork sessions utilizing stretching and pressure techniques
• Aromatic oil relaxation massages for stress relief and wellness
• Gentle Thai massage sessions designed for comfort and restoration
• Customized treatments based on individual needs and preferences

Service Availability

Services are available during our posted operating hours:

• Monday - Friday: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Sunday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours may be adjusted during holidays or special circumstances. We will provide advance notice of any schedule changes on our website or via email to clients with upcoming bookings.

Service Limitations

Our services are wellness-focused and therapeutic in nature. They are not:

• Medical treatments or substitutes for professional medical care
• Diagnostic services for health conditions
• Suitable for all medical conditions (see Health Disclosures section)
• Guaranteed to produce specific health outcomes

3. Booking and Appointments

Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed when you receive written confirmation from us via email or SMS. Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled session time to complete any necessary paperwork and prepare for your treatment.

Minimum Age Requirement

Clients must be at least 18 years of age to book and receive services independently. Minors under 18 may receive services only with written parental or guardian consent and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the session.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that schedules change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• 24+ hours notice: Full refund or free rescheduling
• 12-24 hours notice: 50% charge or reschedule with $200 TWD fee
• Less than 12 hours notice: Full session charge applies
• No-show: Full session charge and future bookings may require prepayment

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, we will do our best to accommodate your full session time. However, if our schedule does not allow, your session may be shortened to the remaining time, with no reduction in the session fee. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in cancellation and a cancellation fee.

4. Pricing and Payment

Service Fees

All pricing is displayed on our website and at our facility in Taiwan Dollars (TWD). Prices are subject to change, but any changes will not affect bookings already confirmed at the time of the change.

Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

• Cash (TWD)
• Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, JCB, Union Pay)
• Mobile payment (LINE Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay)
• Bank transfer (for package purchases only)

Payment Timing

Payment is due at the time of service unless alternative arrangements have been made in advance. For package purchases or gift certificates, payment is required in full at the time of purchase.

Refund Policy

Refunds are provided in accordance with our cancellation policy. If you are dissatisfied with your service for any reason, please speak with our staff immediately during or after your session so we can address your concerns. Refund requests made more than 24 hours after a session will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Package sessions and gift certificates are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person with advance notice.

Tips and Gratuities

Tips are appreciated but never required. If you wish to show appreciation for exceptional service, you may provide a gratuity directly to your practitioner in cash or add it to your credit card payment.

5. Health Disclosures and Client Responsibilities

Medical History

Before your first session, you will be asked to complete a health intake form. It is your responsibility to provide complete and accurate information about your medical history, current health conditions, medications, and any concerns.

You must inform us of any changes to your health status before each subsequent session. This information is kept confidential in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Contraindications

Thai massage may not be suitable for individuals with certain health conditions. You should consult your physician before booking if you have:

• Recent surgery or injuries
• Blood clotting disorders or taking blood-thinning medications
• Pregnancy (especially first trimester)
• Severe osteoporosis or bone conditions
• Active inflammation or infection
• Uncontrolled high blood pressure or heart conditions
• Recent fractures or severe sprains
• Skin conditions or open wounds in treatment areas
• Cancer or undergoing cancer treatment

We reserve the right to refuse or modify service if we believe it may be contraindicated for your health and safety.

Communication During Session

You have the right and responsibility to communicate during your session. Please inform your practitioner:

• If pressure is too intense or too light
• If you experience discomfort or pain
• If the room temperature is uncomfortable
• If you need to stop or pause the session for any reason

6. Conduct and Expectations

Client Conduct

To maintain a peaceful environment for all clients, we ask that you:

• Arrive clean and in appropriate hygiene condition
• Silence mobile devices during sessions
• Respect the quiet atmosphere in treatment areas
• Treat staff and other clients with courtesy and respect
• Follow facility rules and staff instructions
• Refrain from alcohol or drug use before sessions

Professional Boundaries

brtiderest operates as a professional wellness facility. Our services are strictly therapeutic and non-sexual in nature. Any inappropriate requests, comments, or behavior will result in immediate termination of the session without refund and may result in permanent ban from our facility.

We maintain strict professional boundaries. Personal relationships between practitioners and clients outside of the professional therapeutic relationship are discouraged during the active client-practitioner relationship.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, including but not limited to: inappropriate behavior, intoxication, failure to disclose relevant health information, or violation of facility policies.

7. Intellectual Property

Our Rights

All content on our website and in our facility, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of brtiderest and is protected by Taiwan and international copyright laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission.

Your License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

• Access and view our website for personal, non-commercial use
• Print individual pages for your personal records
• Share our website link with others

8. Disclaimers and Limitations

Service Disclaimer

Our massage therapy services are provided for relaxation, stress relief, and general wellness purposes. While many clients experience benefits such as reduced muscle tension, improved circulation, and stress relief, we make no guarantees about specific health outcomes.

Thai massage is not a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment. We recommend consulting with qualified healthcare professionals for medical conditions.

"As Is" Nature of Services

Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that services will meet your specific expectations or be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Taiwanese law:

• Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific session in question
• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• We shall not be liable for any injury, illness, or adverse reaction that occurs as a result of your failure to disclose accurate health information
• We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings brought to our facility

Force Majeure

We shall not be held liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, public health emergencies, power failures, or equipment malfunctions.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless brtiderest, its owners, employees, and practitioners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms and Conditions
• Your violation of any rights of another person or entity
• Your failure to disclose accurate health information
• Your negligence or willful misconduct
• Any injury or damages resulting from your own actions or inactions during a session

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions by reference.

By using our services, you consent to our collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy. We comply with Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act and maintain appropriate security measures to protect your data.

11. Termination

Your Right to Terminate

You may discontinue using our services at any time. Active bookings may be cancelled in accordance with our cancellation policy. Unused package sessions may be refunded on a prorated basis, minus a $500 TWD administrative fee, within 30 days of purchase.

Our Right to Terminate

We may terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice, if:

• You violate these Terms and Conditions
• You engage in inappropriate or disruptive behavior
• You repeatedly cancel or no-show for appointments
• You provide false information
• We reasonably believe continued service provision would be unsafe or inappropriate

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases immediately. Provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China), without regard to conflict of law principles.

Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tainan, Taiwan.

Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and brtiderest regarding the use of our services.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced with a valid provision that most closely approximates the intent of the original provision.

Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. No waiver shall be effective unless made in writing and signed by an authorized representative of brtiderest.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations to any party at any time without notice to you.

Your continued use of our services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must discontinue use of our services and may cancel any future bookings in accordance with our cancellation policy.
